After quite a long break I have returned to continue working on this blog. I haven't made a post since May of this year as I kind of gave up on it. But I have decided to return to it and see where I can take it.

While I have been gone amazing things have happened in the world of Apple. The iPhone 3G has been released all around the world,there has been a new line of iPods, Macs and other products from Apple, The Apps Store, aswell as many more exciting and innovating things.

Well, this is just a short post to say I am back, and whoever does read this if anyone, just letting you know.

Wow!

Man that is one addicting game. At first I didn't think it would be that good, but then I played it a bit more, then a bit more, then a lot more! I am on the train for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours every weekday and I needed something to keep me interested..Enter Sonic!

I have already done a review for this game but as I just finished it I thought I might ad something extra. There are so many levels to this game aswell! I am very impressed at how long the levels are and the amount of them.

According to my iPod Classic I have played it 90 times already but it's so addicting I'm surprised I haven't played more.

Believe me, this is not a plug for iTunes or iPod or Apple and I'm not being paid to say this, I just really love this game.

I think Apple really needs to start making more durable headphones for their iPods, I mean you are paying hundreds of dollars for these things and personally I want some headphones that will last more than a couple of months!

I have now had to switch to some Virgin Airlines Headphones (Which are going great by the way) after only 3 months of my new ipod because the buds are falling apart, there is no sound in my right earphone (REALLY, REALLY annoying when listening to songs and suddenly all you have is bass and drums) and also at the top of the jack the plastic casing of the wire has come out leaving the ire exposed.

Now I don't think I use my headphones in such a way that they can get destroyed as I have quite a few friends now who have had the same problem aswell. We now all use Virgin Headphones :).

Apart from that my iPod is going great and I couldn't live without it.

I know this came out a few days ago but just letting everyone know, iTunes 7.6.2 is now available.

In the iTunes Updater windows it describes it as "Rent and download your favorite movies with iTunes on your computer or directly to your living room on Apple TV. Enjoy rented movies in sizes up to 720p HD with surround sound on your Apple TV and sizes up to DVD-quality on your computer. Transfer your rented movies from iTunes to your iPod or iPhone and enjoy them on the go.

Also, purchase and download your favorite TV shows, music, and more directly on your Apple TV. Effortlessly transfer purchases made on Apple TV back to your computer with iTunes.

iTunes 7.6.2 provides bug fixes to improve stability and performance."

To update simply go into iTunes and click Help >>> Check For Updates.

I feel that Nintendo should work with Apple to make some classic Nintendo games that we all love for iPod Classics, Videos and Nanos.

How many times have you dreamed of being able to bust out your iPod and start playing Super Mario, or Catching a Pikachu on your iPod while on the train. There are so many potentially great and entertaining games that Nintendo could make. What about Donkey Kong?

These are just a few examples of how good this could be, and think of how many people would buy these products.

NetBlender has created a Software Development Kit (SDK) called "BD Touch" which aims at enhancing the capabilities of BD Live by enabling the Apple iPod and iPhone to have a two-way communication. BD Touch uses the BD Live network connection built into Blu-ray players and the Wi-Fi connection on the iPhone to connect the devices.

BD Touch applications can use geolocation, the iPhone's motion sensors and keyboard input. The video, audio, text and player commands can be transferred to the BD player and the handheld devices could act as a remote for it. They can also be used to store movies and surf the Internet for content related to the movie that is playing.

Here is a tutorial I found at Instrucables (which is a great site by the way) on how to make a Video Projector for your iPod without using any external power. Enjoy!

Step 1:
The idea is simple, Focus the light from your iPod onto a nearby screen by means of lenses and mirrors.


Step 2:
Making prototypes is fast and easy using cardboard and a glue gun. A layer of black tape and that Apple sticker makes for a nice look.


Step 3:
In order to see anything it must be dark in the room.


Ok, I know that it wasn't really that great a tutorial but the idea is fantastic and if anyone has a working one I would love to here from you.
